About
On December 15, 2015, Carrie and her family were hit on a one-way highway, leaving her in critical condition. After being trapped in a SVU for an hour, the smoking engine pushed on her lap, Carrie was taken by LifeFlight to the University of Utah Hospital, and rushed immediately into surgery, the first of many. She later was placed into a medically induced coma. Upon waking, medical professionals told her all the things she would no longer be able to do, how her life would change. Carrie felt an urgency within telling her, “Carrie, be brave,” to move forward through the pain and fear and prove everyone wrong!
Whether you have the opportunity to hear Carrie speak on stage, share a story on her podcast, or have the opportunity to share a moment one on one with her, you know she has a gift to empower and uplift. The experiences she chooses to share are laced with humor and life lessons that remind all, no matter the situation, to, “Be brave!”
